LETO™ Narrow Grain Natural Bamboo Veneer is a natural bamboo veneer, manufactured by pressing a 0.6mm 100% bamboo veneer onto a range of available substrates.
The narrow grain pattern features thin, uniform strips of bamboo laid side by side, creating a clean, linear appearance with a fine, consistent texture, while the natural colour delivers warm, light tones that showcase bamboo's organic beauty.
Made from 100% bamboo with non-toxic adhesives, this veneer is suitable for interior cabinetry, furniture, wall cladding, joinery, and decorative panel applications. Veneer panels are supplied raw and unsanded; all faces should be lightly sanded and sealed after cutting or trimming to avoid moisture loss or gain. Suitable for interior use only.

Grain style: Narrow Grain - Natural
Characteristics: Tight-knit, linear grain with small visible notches in a natural straw colour.
Finish & sealing: Panels are shipped with an unsanded factory finish at 8-15% moisture content and flat. While suitable for immediate use, a light sand with 180-220 grit will create a silky surface ready for finishing. As a natural material, bamboo is prone to movement and fungal attack when exposed to moisture or dry conditions, so sealing all faces promptly after cutting and assembly is essential to maintain stability. Water-borne finishes are recommended as they penetrate into the bamboo rather than sitting as a surface film, and won't yellow the natural colour. Note that the first coat will raise the grain and requires light sanding before applying subsequent coats.
Recommended application: Furniture, cabinets, bench tops, walls, ceilings, joinery and more. Interior use only.
Important information:
- Bamboo veneer panels vary in colour and grain pattern between batches, and the factory occasionally makes changes to face styles, core construction and colours between production runs. Bamboo may also change colour when exposed to UV light. Product images should be used as a general reference only. If matching is important for your project, let us know before ordering: we can supply from the same batch and arrange a sample for approval.
- As a natural wood product, bamboo veneer panels are inherently subject to bowing, cupping, or warping, and can be affected by ambient conditions. Sheets are flat at dispatch but must be fastened promptly to maintain flatness. This is particularly important for non-fastened cabinet doors.
