LETO™ Narrow Grain Natural Bamboo on Paper Back is a flexible, 0.6mm single-ply bamboo veneer with a paper fleece backing, designed for laminating onto substrates.
The narrow grain pattern features thin, uniform strips of bamboo laid side by side, creating a clean, linear appearance with a fine, consistent texture. The natural colour delivers warm, light tones that add a touch of natural beauty to any space.
Its flexible paper fleece backing allows it to be cold pressed onto flat and gently curved substrates including MDF, plywood, or other rigid materials heavier than 5mm using cross-linked PVA adhesive, making it suitable for curved joinery, furniture components, and edge finishing. A minimum 600mm bending radius is recommended.
Made from 100% bamboo with non-toxic adhesives, this veneer is suitable for interior cabinetry, furniture, wall cladding, joinery, and decorative panel applications.

Material: 100% bamboo
Grain style: Narrow Grain - Natural
Characteristics: Tight-knit, linear grain with small visible notches in a natural straw colour.
Thickness: 0.6mm single ply with paper fleece backing
Curve radius: Suitable for gentle curves with a minimum recommended bending radius of 600mm. Attempting tighter bends may cause cracking or surface damage and should only be undertaken with thorough testing at the purchaser's risk.
Finish & sealing: Panels are shipped unsanded at 8-15% moisture content. A light sand with 240 grit, then 400+ grit is recommended before finishing. Do not heavily sand 0.6mm fleece-backed bamboo ply. Water-borne finishes are recommended as they won't yellow the natural colour. Note that the first coat will raise the grain and requires light sanding before applying subsequent coats. No flammable sealants or solvents may be used as these will attack the adhesive binders, causing surface splitting and degradation.
Recommended application: Suitable for laminating onto flat and gently curved substrates including MDF, plywood, or other rigid materials heavier than 5mm. Ideal for cabinetry, furniture, wall cladding, joinery, and decorative panels. Interior use only.
Gluing: Must be cold pressed with cross-linked PVA adhesive (such as Titebond or Selleys Aquadhere). Use water-based, non-toxic adhesives. For large panels or table tops, apply bamboo to both sides of the substrate to create a balanced construction that prevents warping or twisting.

- Bamboo panels vary in colour and grain pattern between batches, and the factory occasionally makes changes to face styles, core construction and colours between production runs. Product images should be used as a general reference only. If matching is important for your project, let us know before ordering - we can supply from the same batch and arrange a sample for approval.
- As a natural wood product bamboo veneer can be affected by ambient conditions. Seal all faces promptly after cutting and assembly to maintain stability.
