Formica® Teal Decorated MR E0 MDF is a pre-finished decorative panel manufactured in Australia by Formica®, part of the Laminex Group, with a medium strength combination of blue and green surface. A moisture resistant medium density fibreboard bonded on both sides with a hard-wearing melamine decorative surface.

The E0 moisture resistant MDF substrate is produced to the most stringent formaldehyde classification available under AS/NZS 1859.2, with emissions tested to ≤ 0.5 mg/L. Wood fibres are sourced from certified sustainably managed forests under PEFC Chain of Custody certification, traceable from plantation to finished product. Fire tested to a Group 3 classification under AS 5637.1-2015. For internal applications only.

Construction: Double-sided. The decorative surface is applied to both faces, making it suitable for applications where both sides are visible.

Finish (options vary by colour):

• Pearl: A smooth, lightly stippled, hard-wearing finish.
• Velvet: A soft to touch, hard-wearing multi-purpose finish.
• Grain: A hard-wearing, tactile matte woodgrain texture.
• Gloss: An easy-care, semi-gloss finish.

Recommended Application: Suitable for cabinetry, shelving, wardrobes, wall panels, desks, tabletops, and vanities. Suitable for light horizontal applications. Not suitable for high impact or high traffic installations, laboratory benchtops, or outdoor applications. For internal applications only.

Installation: All edges must be sealed to prevent moisture ingress.

Performance: Stain resistant, heat resistant, water resistant, scratch resistant, and UV stable for indoor use. Fire tested to a Group 3 classification under AS 5637.1-2015. Formaldehyde emissions tested to E0, ≤ 0.5 mg/L (AS/NZS 1859.2).

Wet Area Suitability: Suitable for use in kitchens, bathrooms, and vanities. Do not allow water to pool on the surface or around edges. Do not expose to frequent or excessive heat or moisture. Note that exposure to steam may cause moderate surface swelling. Do not expose to heat from front-venting oven installations without a heat deflector shield, fugitive heat from appliance seals, or benchtop hot plates used without exhaust fan activation. Do not expose to humidity fluctuations as this may cause bow, warp, or twisting.

Warranty: 7-year limited warranty, residential and commercial.

Edging: Matching Formica® ABS edge banding is available from Bord. Formica® ABS edge banding and Formica® decorated board products are different surface materials and may appear slightly different under various lighting conditions.

Care & Maintenance: For day-to-day cleaning, use a mild dishwashing detergent diluted in warm water and finish with a clean dry cloth. For streaky marks, use a glass cleaner such as Windex. Do not use solvents, strongly acidic or alkaline cleaners, alcohol-based compounds, commercial cleaning agents, abrasive cleaners, waxes, polishes, undiluted bleach, or ammonia. Do not use the decorative face as a cutting surface. Immediately clean spills containing minerals, strong pigments, hair dye, or solvent-based inks. Darker colours will show fingerprints, scratches, and superficial wear more readily and require more careful maintenance.
