Description
Our Falcata Plywood pairs an ultra-lightweight Falcata core with a smooth MDF skin laminated to both faces. The Falcata core keeps the panel significantly lighter than a standard pine plywood, while the 1.5mm MDF skin gives it a fine, consistent surface.
That MDF surface smooths out the natural texture of the raw Falcata, making the panel far better suited to painting, veneering and laminating than plywood alone. It is an ideal lightweight substrate for caravans, RVs, tiny homes, furniture, cabinetry and shop fitting. Manufactured with a MUF glue bond and finished with an MDF surface, Falcata Plywood is suitable for interior applications only.

Core Density (Approx): 370 kg/m³. The MDF skin adds mass, so the finished panel weighs more than the core alone
Glue Bond: MUF (interior use only)
Recommended application: Lightweight substrate for paint, veneer or laminate finishing. Suited to caravans, RVs and tiny homes, furniture and cabinetry, shop fitting, displays, ceiling lining and interior wall panelling. Suitable for CNC routing. Ideal where reduced weight is a priority

Important information:
Interior use only. Falcata Plywood uses a MUF glue bond with an MDF surface and is not suitable for exterior or wet-area applications.
Wood-based panels are inherently subject to bowing, cupping, or warping, and may change colour when exposed to UV light. Read our wood-based panel specifications to understand tolerances and protection methods.
