Aust Eucalypt EVOGRAIN Hyperreal replicates Tasmanian and Plantation Oak Quarter Cut Veneer with a clean linear grain and subtle light blonde hues. Designed by natural veneer experts Bord Products, this precision-matched 3D surface is pressed onto Tricoya® acetylated MDF and manufactured in Australia, delivering flawless colour consistency and the authentic depth and texture of natural timber veneer to outdoor and wet environment applications.
The EVOPANEL surface is pre-finished using advanced Japanese 3D Olefin technology with finely textured embossing, delivering scratch, stain, chemical, and water resistance with UV stability tested to 2,000 hours. The surface includes invisible antimicrobial protection and is completely free from PVC, BPA, chlorine, phthalates, formaldehyde, and endocrine-disrupting chemicals. Ultra-low VOC, PEFC-certified, and fully recyclable.
The Tricoya® substrate is the only MDF genuinely rated for permanent exterior use, with Class 1 durability resistant to rot, fungal decay, and termites, and less than 2% thickness swell after 24-hour water immersion. Backed by a 50-year above-ground warranty and 25-year in-ground warranty, it is ideal for outdoor kitchens, alfresco cabinetry, external doors, wet interior areas including bathrooms, and any application where traditional MDF would fail.

Recommended applications: Outdoor kitchens, external doors, wet interior areas (bathrooms, pool surrounds, laundries), outdoor furniture.
Pre-finished: EVOPANEL's 3D embossed Olefin surface is pre-finished using proprietary Japanese technology. This factory-controlled finish delivers superior scratch, stain, and water resistance while providing invisible antimicrobial protection and maintaining UV stability, tested for up to 2,000 hours.
Maintenance: EVOPANEL requires only warm water and mild detergent for regular cleaning.
Core material: Acetylated Medium Density Fibreboard (Tricoya MDF)
Durability: Class 1 (EN 350-2), resistant to rot, fungal decay, and termites
Dimensional stability: Less than 2% thickness swell after 24-hour water immersion
Warranty: 50 years above ground, 25 years in-ground contact
Edging: Matching ABS edge banding is available from Bord in 23mm and 42mm widths with 1.0mm thickness. PUR adhesive required for exterior applications.
Fastener requirements: Stainless steel 304 minimum. Use 316 stainless steel in coastal or marine environments. Do not use galvanised, carbon steel, or zinc-coated fasteners.
Adhesive requirements: D4 class adhesives for exterior use including polyurethane (PU), epoxy, and EPI. PVA is not suitable for external applications.
Fire rating: Class C flame spread (ASTM E84)
Storage: Store flat on level, dry bearers at maximum 800mm centres. Keep elevated 100mm above concrete floors or 300mm above ground. Store undercover and allow panels to acclimatise before installation.

Important information:
- Stainless steel fasteners are mandatory. Contact with carbon steel, galvanised, or zinc-coated metals will cause corrosion and staining. Use 304 stainless minimum, 316 for coastal areas.
