B/C Structural Plywood is a durable panel made from thin wood veneer glued together with strong adhesive. It's ideal for a range of structural applications, such as flooring, roofing, and wall sheathing.

B/C grade means that one side has a B grade face with natural blemishes, while the other has a C grade back with more noticeable knots. Both sides are suitable for structural use.

One of the key benefits of B/C Structural Plywood is its strength and resistance to wear and tear. The plywood's multi-layer construction provides added stability and resistance to warping and twisting. Additionally, the plywood's surface is smooth enough to accept paint and stain well, making it easy to customise for a variety of projects.

B/C Structural Plywood is easy to work with, cut, drilled, sanded with standard tools, and installed using common techniques. It's perfect for DIY projects and larger construction jobs. Overall, B/C Structural Plywood is a versatile, durable, and reliable panel that can meet the needs of professional builders and DIY enthusiasts alike.

Important notice: All wood-based panels are by nature potentially subject to bowing, cupping or warping following application of timber veneer. Read our panel manufacturing guidelines to learn more.

Important notice

Plywood is a natural wood product that can be affected by ambient weather conditions which may cause sheets to bow. At Bord, all precautions are taken to ensure flatness at time of dispatch. Once plywood has left our factory we cannot guarantee sheets will remain flat unless fastened. This is particularly important for non-fastened cabinet doors.

About Plywood

Plywood is a sheet building material used in construction and furniture making. It is a man-made product, made by glueing thin layers of wood veneer together. There are a number of plywood varieties. Most plywood is graded from A to D. An A grade is appearance grade and free from surface defects. Whereas a C/D grade has flaws and is generally used for structural applications. As one of the leading commercial plywood suppliers in Melbourne and Australia, we pride ourselves on being experts in plywood and can provide professional advice to ensure you have the right product for the job.
